To listen! Again and again! To read! Again and again! Dialogues, newspaper articles, songs, movies. It is up to me to find the best materials adapted to your level at everystep of the process of learning.
Realism
You are a lawyer in a large firm, an executive in a big company. You work 10-12 hours a day. You have maybe a family, a partner, children. And you would like to work on your French one hour a day outside the time we meet. If you put so much pressure on you, you will not make it over the long run. No... I will just ask 15 minutes of your time at the beginning but e-ve-ry-day. That's a start! The goal and my job : to install a routine and develop day after day the space that the French language has in you everyday life. One of the ways - the only one? - by making you love it.

Explanation
French is not difficult. It is made difficult. Some methods seem to focus first and only on the exceptions. But there are rules (not so many). But there is a logic. Even behind the exceptions. A explanation must be clear and simple. And short. Once you understand the logic, what your hear and read will make sens and you will progress much faster.
Correction
You speak, I correct (pronounciation, syntax, vocabulary) but in a soft way, without interrupting you. I am writing them on a sheet that you will keep to review. Again and again and again until you reach the auto-correction level.
Confidence
Positive attitude. You don't speak? You don't speak perfectly? But you are on the way!!! You will never feel judged! Never! There is no failure. Never! Just questions to be answered. Problems to be solved. Problems to be explained. And that is my job! It is just a question of repetition, of explanation, of work and time. The goal : to build your self-confidence in French so that you will speak in the everyday life. Our meetings will be micro situation of the everyday life. The everyday life is the best teacher. I will be there to help, to explain, to answer, to find the best strategies so that the language will make sens, so that French will speak to you, so that what you hear, what you read will speak to you.
Attention
I will explain to you the way French work to develop a high level of attention and understanting so that you will never be passive. Everything you will hear or read will make sens, your mind will be trained to recognize very quickly all the elements of the language. And after some time, the repetition will make it nearly automatical so that you will reach the auto-correction level. First you will correct yourself after having said or write then it will be before!
